Yeah I don't know where she got this thing or what breed it is

I thought the same when I saw it I was like is this animal cruelty? But it seemed healthy

The way she dotes on it she really loves her Pig so I'm sure she is doing all she can to take care of it the best ways she knows how. I just know that the feeding was very restricted. The pig could not get any snacks and only got a measured amount of food at each meal time

I think they are like goldfish in that if you feed them a lot they will grow big but if you keep the food amount controlled they will stay smaller

I think most people just overfeed them LOL and that's why they get so large

I don't like that idea. Feels cruel to me to restrict food enough to hinder development

We humans call that famine

Because I don't think they have a control when it comes to appetite

Yeah I thought even with mini pigs they are supposed to usually get around 40 lb at least

But this must have been like a micro pig

They are not our toys to experiment with

My friend's puppy mill German Shepard is in danger of losing her eyes at only 4 years old. A side effect of in-breeding

Oh yeah I know so many people that have paid so much money for these designer pets and they always have major issues

Then they have to end up spending more money on surgeries trying to fix all these issues

I've always been an advocate for rescuing animals in need

Just get one from the pound or a rescue. And do not breed them

I know some states have eliminated pet stores and sales of purebred pets. But they still allow people to breed them in their homes. So unnecessary. So many animals in need of homes already.
