not dishonest per se, but a lot of the times they are. but they can be honest still

It just means you don't want to hurt feelings

Which is dishonest

And also not what passive aggressive means

like how women frenemies talk to each other

I work in a prison

And honestly passive aggressive works

You can be kind for sure

But also let people know you aren't messing

And it's important to say what mean

Okay but that directly contradicts “I don’t want to hurt their feelings”

To be passive aggressive doesn't mean you hurt feelings

When someone asks me for their opinion I don’t think “how do I avoid hurting this person” I give them my opinion

I agree. But when you say it’s important to not hurt people’s feelings I think that contradicts saying what you mean

I was brought up where my mum was very blunt

Sometimes you can’t say what you mean without hurting someone’s feelings. And sometimes you can’t say what you really mean without hurting someone a LOT
