I had tomato soup the other night for dinner. With cheese on toast

Some would call it a grilled cheese. Either way it was bread and melted cheese

Melted cheese on toast is very different from grilled cheese imo

Hmm wonder if they sell cheese in those large paint bucket

Is it the method? Because I’ve seen people call what i would call cheese on toast a grilled cheese But I’ve also seen people basically make a cheese sandwich and then they lightly fry it in butter in a pan or skillet

To me a grilled cheese is butter on bread cheese in middle either camprm
