I think she isnât a fan of the heated floors in my new apartment đ sheâs laying on the cold floor infront of the garden door
Can you turn off the heat from the floors
Or adjust the temperature
I could but itâs my only source of heating and weâre in the negative Celsius đ„Č itâs not even really that warm, guess itâs like 21c according to my thermostat
In the summer she is laying in the sun for endless time so I know she likes the warmth đ
Try turning on a fan. If she lays in front of it you'll know she's too hot
Maybe she just doesn't like the heat from the floor. Could be a different kind of heat. In the summer she can get away from it

but Iâve noticed that she prefers laying outside at night etc itâs just gotten too cold to leave the door open. She has a bed thatâs supposed to be slightly cooling though and at least good ventilated and she sleeps very good in it
She barely lays on the floor anyways. Usually itâs my bed or the couch that sheâs on the most
Iâll keep an eye on how she behaves tho and might provide more surfaces that she can lay on instead of the floor
Aw no thatâs alright! I kinda found it more endearing than concerning. She lived at my parents place before and would purposely lay infront of the fire place. My parents had to move her away so she wouldnât overheat. Iâm not really that concerned tbh

Itâs actually pretty nice, I have an electric heater in the bathroom but thatâs it. Gas heaters would take up so much space thatâs needed đ
And itâs pretty sufficient tbh

No actually my mum died extremely unexpectedly and my dad has a dog of his own. He couldnât take care of both dogs alone
