Confession: I’m a bit nervous about what RTD has planned for a bunch of plot points that would have worked better with ncutti gatwas character, but I do enjoy that he has brought characters back into the light after so many years and I felt shocked when the big reveal of the episode, but also felt like it was way too soon, almost like he’s doing another version of the the 2000s
However.. he was given an hour of screen time to make us feel terrified of omega but it fell flat on its face. But I do think he may have redeemed himself with how he took the rest of the episode, except for leaving plot points and hooks to the wind, doing ncutti gatwa like he did Christopher eccelston, which does hurt a little bit but with how he ran the episode I do think it was ok just needed some better parts to it, even maybe making it full length, giving us time to really feel the strain
