Honestly it kinda makes sense to limit gambling loss deductions, maybe it would have been better to limit the number rather than the percent though
The general rates are staying the same, just extra special deductions. Some of which are good and some of which are stupid
They did add a small amount to standard deduction again but not a drasticchange like 2017, that’s when they doubled it. This time they only added a few hundred. Other than that all the standard stuff is the same.
Anybody can get treatment, hospitals cannot deny care no matter ability to pay. Regarding immigrants there was a provision in the bill to withhold some Medicaid funds from states that allow illegals to get Medicaid but I think they might have stupidly removed it from the final bill
It should be common sense, no subsidization for people who aren’t American
80million people being on Medicaid isn’t balance
Millions of people who are here illegally and millions of people who are able bodied but choosing not to work or study getting Medicaid isn’t balance. It’s just wasteful

That’s not remotely accurate, they still can get healthcare, just the people who are able bodied without kids who don’t work, will have to pay for their own healthcare
If you get a job, even part time two or three days a week, there won’t be any difference
There’s a lot of red tape, mostly because other people fake it. If they had put more of their energy into working then it would be easier for the people like your dad who actually need it
But people like to commit fraud which hurts the actual people who need it
The best way to do that would be cutting governments role in general, when you keep your own tax dollars you have more ability to direct it to where you actually want
Less taxes and less spending, more control over your own money
