Far from it! The scenario is usually happening when the resident is trying to leave out of the building… I guess I could’ve added that in there. We’re not just randomly “lying” to them. That’s why it’s called a therapeutic fib. All about their safety.

As you should! In this case, she wasn’t hurting herself or anyone else. Wasn’t putting herself in a dangerous situation.
