Instead of reading the Bible for what it says

The way you study the bible is by learning through someone that’s qualified to teach, i.e a priest. That way you don’t have people who come up with silly talking points unchallenged

You may not like it but that’s how you preserve the correct teachings from generation to generation

No, that's how you come up with a bunch of false doctrines like that you have to go through purgatory in order to get to heaven or that you should worship bread and wine, which is literal idolatry

Can anyone recommend to me where’s best to start reading the bible? I’ve heard John then Matthew

I started watching The Chosen and wow it’s so good but I need to start reading the bible

Honestly I'd start from Genesis and read through Revelation. The Old Testament is a prerequisite for understanding the New.

Matthew mark luke and John is good to read first, do you not have a church you go to yet?

Ohh most definitely. I only have one friend who is Christian and nobody wear with faith. I’ve been into my local Catholic Church for Mass a few times but I’m not sure if it’s right for me

I’ll find somewhere I’m sure there’s a lot of churches around

Definitely talk to the priests when you get the chance, if you have any questions they are the best to talk to
