As a Canadian who has wanted to move to the US for some time now, I’ve researched living and working in the US. It’s impossible unless you get married or unless someone offers you a job that can’t be done by anyone locally and they have to move you there.

Basically I was offered the chance to move to the US because my company would just make it happen
