I fix those ports everyday
They happen on all devices
I’m an electronics tech and the number of ps5s that come in is crazy
Even major phone brands have to get their charge ports replaced because they're designed to align lots of little contacts that get bent out of shape or you do some oopsie maneuver and yank it from the main contact in the device
But the number of PS5 to Xbox is 10 to 1
On PlayStation it happens on the back ports more because it's hot so it's vulnerable to more damage, it's a known design issue they'll probably think about in ps6
I really hope so. I really like PS
The pro doesn't address this, it's likely to stay that way until the next gen
They need to strengthen that connection and secure it to the case
They tried to make it so that it's more like towers and mullets
Sleek and pretty front design, all the nonsense in the back
I wanted to go back to PS
But unless you help it out and keep the ps cool by giving it the room it needs, your wires and ports are going to struggle 🤷🏻♀️
Do you remember the fan attachment that the Xbox 360 had
That’s what the PS 5 needs
Loved them but games weren't great upto the PS3
Personally I haven't had any issues because I haven't needed the back ports and don't have a closed in entertainment system
I have a PS2 still in the box
I liked that case for Xbox, I still have it and the green xbox
PS2 be worth a bit if it's the backwards compatible one
I have all the PlayStations, including a weird amount psp lawl
