I can only speak for myself but I haven’t seen any horror movies lately. But I am re-watching all the Karate Kid movies because of the newly released one that just came out last week

What the reason of night terrors?
I have super realistic nightmares.... night-terrors
I've always had intense and vivid dreams, of almost always nightmarish qualities. I'll wake up in the midst of panic attacks. I can definitely sympathize and relate to that

Going back to my original question, are the night terrors a result of something that you have watched?
My problem is, I watched nun 2, eight or nine months ago. Every night, I the image of it's smiling face appears.. I can't sleep.
I have to leave the light in one of the rooms in my apartment on the entire night
A complete dark apartment is a very bad idea
I know it's just my mind playing tricks
I went for holiday and had to sleep with lights on in the hotel
Live alone so it's affecting sleep everyday.
I have to shut the door of my walking closet room attached to my bed room
I can't look at the door at night when it's dark
