Well what kills me is how many people quickly and easily buy into a narrative either side without putting the time and effort into fact checking and than turn around sprouting stuff like it’s for sure
Like the LA “riots” I have friend there and she’s like nah 99.9% of it is good people just doing peaceful protest but than the news makes a big deal of the .1% like that represents everyone
That kinda happens with any subject matter. When 60 minutes first launched, the industry quickly realized news could be commoditized like any other product and now it’s all about getting views and clicks
