I take claims as they come, and investigate where it's said. I don't need to read the entire thing for such.

Okay, it's ok to admit not knowing. Let me explain to you the situation
Goosebumps serveno longer use for us. We know how they are triggered (through nerve system, connected to how we feel etc). But the actual ability of the hairs standing up serves no purpose to us. It's actually a leftover ability from when we were more ape-like with more body hair. The hairs stand up when we're cold to make us warmer. And we also raise our hairs when we're afraid etc in order to look larger and more intimidating (other animals like cats do this)
It's an evolutionary left over that hasn't disappeared fully yet

No. We see in other animals what purpose goosebumps have. Why they exist in the first place. We see in humans it's the same system, same nerves, same triggers - but no longer serves a purpose because we lost our hair. We have only tiny hairs (mostly gone) and they do not help insulate or make us look larger when triggered.
It's not just because there is similarity... It's WHY there is similarity. Where the traits emerge and why they exist.
