A good stress reliever for my wife is for me to take some extra time and take care of things that are typically on her to-do list. We’ve got kind of a code. We can tell the other person “I’m at like 40% today” whatever that number might be. And then the other one just picks that slack up. No questions. No bugging. No complaining

I do the same with my husband - I let him know up front what's going on or if I've had a bad day at work. I tell him that it's not him and that I will try my hardest to not take it out on him but I'm short with him, there's a reason that isn't him.

Listen I work 10 hour days 5 days a week. I have an hour commute each way

She's gone in the morning and evening was to her parents' house. So we may not see each other more than Tar, 15 minutes everyday.
