i like how christians dont follow the old covenant but will bring up the old testament to use as arguing points and pick and choose which parts of the old testament they follow

they just want to hear your story, or your testimony, so they can reassure themselves that their faith in jesus is "correct" and feel good for trying to help someone out. they don't want to hear from you to help you. those people want to hear from you to make themselves feel better

so do not feel pressured to share a testimony

when someone says testimony or story they want to know how you became a christian. they want to know what lead you to christianity and usually they assume there is something sad to your story. so they want to see how jesus turned your life around

Half the time "what lead you to Jesus" is some how wrong
