I love the shawgunks and adirondacks
My gf and i went to do bonticou crag trail this week and it's actually literally mountain climbing at some points
We went shopping and i wore a skirt and blouse and she dressed up with me. We got to the trail at 5 pm and the ranger at the lot was like yall sure u can do this 🤨

I love marcy field in the Adirondacks
Theres a big valley below mount marcy, the tallest mountain in Ny, and theres a really refreshing river that runs through it thats like knee deep. Perfect spot for picnic
The trail we did this weekend was short, but was actually very challenging at one point. You basically climb straight up a 200 foot cliif, and u actually have to think where u place ur hands and feet

It was a bit sketchy at some points. But it gets to the point where its actually more scary to try to turn back and go down 😂
I probably wouldn't have started if i knew how hard it would be
This is marcy field. Theres like a river right behind this, and its also an air field so u occasionally see small planes landing right there
Its very popular over there
Always see people witg a pad hanging around
New paltz used to ve more of a hippy town, it seems like it's becoming more conservative unfortunately
