I settled on something eventually but I been at it a long time, what i use depends on what I'm doing with it but my main workstation is fedora because I'm used to rhel stuff on my other servers in the house, but mostly use debian or Ubuntu otherwise. Some people switch a ton but usually just to try, really other than package management it's not that tough moving around
I jumped ship from MS when win95 came out so I rolled with some pretty janky old Linux boxes back in the day, you had to do all the things manually so I'm pretty fluent
>>> I hate package managers.
Lol I ran slackware and had to compile everything by hand back in the day I'm happy to hand some of that off to a package manager ahahha
>>> I've been banned before, and appeal does l...
It doesn't do nothing, but when a mod gets the appeal they're not obligated to do anything so your mileage may vary lol
And you never know which mod will get the appeal
It used to be just the founder but now it goes to random other mods in the group
I've had mixed results in my own groups, I definitely don't think all of them get it, I think it picks a random one
I preferred it when they all just went to founder
There is defintiely a logout button lol
