Correct, but there are a few of us out there that actually give a heck and make it morethan a pay check. Policing shouldn’t be treated like every law and rule is black and white. It isn’t. Maybe if more cops ask non criminalizing questions there wouldn’t be escalation. Or if maybe more of us knew how to treat people like they’re damn people we wouldn’t have all the hate at us. It’s more than a paycheck to me, it’s a helping hand I can extend to those who need it.

Those include justified shootings as well. Like the one where my partner was shoot and put down by someone and I defended myself. But I guess wanting to live in the face of possible death isn’t a natural human condition
