I had tomato soup the other night for dinner. With cheese on toast
Some would call it a grilled cheese. Either way it was bread and melted cheese

Is it the method? Because I’ve seen people call what i would call cheese on toast a grilled cheese But I’ve also seen people basically make a cheese sandwich and then they lightly fry it in butter in a pan or skillet
