Your responses come off cynical probably from bad experiences.. but wanting to really get to know someone isn’t a bad thing. If they’re putting honest effort into getting to know you and making time to.. that can also be a good sign.
Their examples of cling was weird and didn’t describe clingy. Just described someone who is interested unless there’s more to that
All they said was “they really want to get to know me and they show me a lot of love and care” lol and labeled that as clingy. Maybe their definition of clingy is different
