I know people take advantage of me because of my kindness, I'm very naive but I can't help myself being overly nice. Even if I know it wont last long, it just... I dont know
over time you'll evolve to be selective with your kindness and have only people around you who truly deserve it, it becomes easier to recognise people that are genuine
