No it actually happens it will corrupt your storage and essentially make your console useless
Its happend to me alot on ps4 but ps4 it was an easier repair just had to get a new hard drive but the ps5 is different and its a chip on the motherboard way more difficult to replace if at all
Oh the PS5 main SSD is soldered onto the motherboard? That's gross
It's also highly unlikely to happen though, the PS5 would have to be writing crucial data when the power loss happens and the "brick" honestly should hold enough residual power for it to finish
Theres a couple saftey measures to help prevent it but theres not full prevention, it could be unplugged a hundred times and be fine, or it could happen once and compleyly fk the console

Tbh I can't justify a UPS for a console I know that sounds bad but the cost benefit isn't there imo
Dont need an expensive one just one that holds enough power to give time to properly shut the system off, its just a nice peace of mind really
Eh consoles are relatively cheap, even a cheap UPS is about $100 🤷🏻♂️ just now I feel about it

No it's pretty bad it's using 30 series era tech so 5 years old not current lcd display etc, I agree the games and joy cons are stupid over priced as well, it's one of those they shouldve done one or the other increase the price of gsmesaccessories or the price of the console not both

The switch one still being for sale at $300 is why they raised the price 50% they had to differentiate the price, instead of reducing the price on the switch one to clear inventory and stop production

I mean already a OLED steam deck is $100 more double the storage, cheaper upgradable storage more versatile, and much larger library
Plus they dont really have a competition, the steam deack and all those yeah they are over all are better but they dont appeal to the market that Nintendo always has, why they can ask these crazy prices and get away with it
