Why is everyone so hostile
Why do none of you know what hostile means? Why are there so many questions to be asked?

Well, if I may. Try not to look at it as failing at being a good partner. You are learning, and that is progress and progress is not failing. You are changing things in your life to be a better partner, so don’t get hung up on being a good partner or failing at it. Tou

I agree, don’t be mad at him. Also, don’t be mad at yourself. Sitting in anger or dislike will not produce any results for you, doing what you are doing by learning and changing is the way through.
And unfortunately it is possible this relationship will have no closure, and you will have to make your own healing. It always is difficult but it gives a little more power behind the healing.
