Based on how I'm feeling that day. You have nerves in your feet that actually send signals to your brain for pain or relaxation. If my head is hurting, they normally do
Its definitely selective for people. I even got needles on the bridge of my nose, in the ear, and my pressure point behind my ear today

Based on the locations of the needles or if there was cupping done as well. Average time is anywhere from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. I've had one time I laid there for 50 minutes and dozed off
