My brother(roommate) texted me that he is at the hospital his liver is failing, but gets to leave today and he’s going to call me when he gets out.
why they letting him leave the hospital

Hes home now and i guess as long as he quits drinking he’ll be ok… i just find it strange they didnt say anything about complications or needing treatments for stuff nothing. They just told hime he needs to quit drinking, gave him a help line, and some valium to help with the tremors from withdrawals… like way to give an addict an addictive substance
Some people have that especially when they drink the liver can’t handle the break down of alcohol anymore like being allergic to it now
