Ok. The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, anything by Grady Hendrix…
I second The Mistborn trilogy and add Tress of the Emerald Sea by the same author.
That was my first Sanderson book. I was trying to read through the whole Cosmere and got to Oathbringer and hit a wall. Haven’t picked it up in 6 months.
Someone recommended Oathbringer to me I can’t remember who but my friend told me it took her forever to get through it because she just couldn’t get into it
Needless to say, I haven’t read it. 😆

I've started mistborn but having some trouble getting into it.
