We're still evolving. And mammoths died because their evolution wasn't good enough for the rapid changes in the environment. Maybe we humans just have been quite lucky that our evolution is quite good for our environment. We're really adaptive
But evolution doesn't mean that "everybody is perfect" it means that animals adapt and only the ones who adapt best survive, so the ones who don't adapt are basically part of evolution.
Like for what purpose did God make "bear animals"? These small mini things that even survive space.. why do they exist? If not solely because they are highly adaptive even at this small stage and still are pretty good survivors

I think it's insane to expect a God to simply exist. It makes more sense to me to be coming from a pile of cells that developed through ages to what we are now, then that a bored God exists who created us and then let the whole bible happen
