I have turned more anti social, which isn’t good
I've been thinking about allowing the doctor to refer me to a psychiatrist, and getting a single medication
But it was necessary for a while
My sister is the same, though she is extremely anti social
What do you mean a single one? Are you on several? Or you don’t have any?
I don't currently take psyche meds
I am on two. One for migraines which is a type of anti epileptic and another which is sertraline for depression
And I am very happy with both
I'm part of the population who feels they are emergency or last resort things, unless there is a chemical imbalance that can be corrected with it

I have been on antidepressants before because they are used for migraines too
And I have never had any as good as this one
I'm contemplating something for anxiety....just to help out my stomach and give me a little peace while I prepare for the next segment of therapy
Some of these meds are used for other things too
Yes, for stomach issues for ex
I am not encouraging anyone to take them
I'm also extremely worried about losing my health insurance unfortunately
We have a public health system
Unfortunately living in the US....and being on the government provided health insurance....it's precarious
I didn't even have health insurance until Obama was president
Well the public health system here isn’t great either, but everyone is assisted
Health is a bit of a crisis here
Not enough doctors, no one can afford anything
The person I'm seeing on Friday is actually just a nurse practitioner, not even a doctor. Those are harder to find
The nurse is harder to find or the doctor?
Doctors are rare here, at least in this town
Can the nurse prescribe medication?
Depending on their status
Mostly the garden variety stuff I think

I've been overdue for a physical for about a decade 🤣
I've been trying to get it done for the past 5 years but keep getting shuffled from one doctor to the next before I can get it finished
And they always want the same tests run again, lol
