But I went to an interview for deckhand on a tug paying 170 a day , left with position on spud barge as oiler paying $240+ a day

Yeaa I thought so too it's 2120 a week when I start , but they want me to complete my training and after that I'll be immediately bumped up to $26 an hour
So after my training and raise it'll be about $2756 a week
