There are tens of thousands of denominations, you could have went to one everyday since you were born and you still wouldn’t have been to most
Denomination churches boils down to the root of their original denomination
There can be 20 Catholic churches and each one be a little different but yet they teach the same
I do believe that not everyone mag pray for the right reasons like gor the love of money instead of money for the love of humanity for example. But i think i shaving all churches over 1 line. I dont think its as simple as that and the people stay human, they do make mistakes eventough they attent the church. Its sad that you think that way, i do hope you will find a church where the holy spirit can speak to you soul
Except there isnt 20 catholic denominations
And a little different is subjective
It’s about their doctrinal views
They are not exactly different denominations
There's 45,000 globally and each one major and large is a branch of one of the major denomination.
Which then in turn is exactly what I just said.
If you are quoting that number from the World Christian Encyclopaedia, it wouldn’t be correct as they counted rites as denominations which is factually incorrect
Regardless you don't have to go to church to be Christian
You don't have to have a denomination
That would absolutely obliterate the construct of Christianity
In the spirit of the lord yes, you don't need to be baptized in water.
Also not true, do you not read your bible?
The thief on the cross has no time for repentance nor baptism
Like John 3:5 or Titus 3:5 ?
For the baptism, he repented on the cross
John 3:5 Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Does not specify baptism
Being born of the water and spirit is baptism buddy
Born of water is a parable which means born a new in the holy Spirit
Literally everything Jesus says are parables to break down
only some denominations believe baptism is a requirement. a lot of protestant denominations believe baptism is important but not a requirement
I can go around and round. But we both neither have the time. So you choose your path and I'll choose mine
you'll mostly see required baptism in the more traditional denominations such as catholicism
christians even debate which method of baptism is the correct method
Basicky all see baptism as required if possible
many protestant denominations do not see baptism as a requirement
Which denomination?
When one is able to, which denomination thinks it’s okay not to be baptized??
They might not think it’s cleansing of sin or salvation in itself but do firmly support it
pentecostals do not believe in baptism
The only thing that denominations have in common is Jesus Christ died for us they are all different
and if you know how pentecostals are they have a pretty strict interpretation of the bible to begin with
That’s one group
A minority amongst all Christian’s
okay so i give you an example as you wanted and because it's not a big denomination, despite its numbers, you dismiss it?
Then they should know baptism is required if possible
Parrot, can you show me one denomination before the Protestant reformation that didn’t believe in baptism?
You lost sheep have been taught by goats and this shows
