Statistics show 1 in 4 people on here are bots
i changed my brakes about 3 weeks ago
on tues a chain of events started that i had no idea
yesterday i heard i heard a 3rd
they felt like it was a bearing
i heard the 4th today, and pulled over in a mile
i thought it was a bearing, but i had no lugs but 1 left
Didn't tighten them down enough
i used all my body weight on the factory tire iron
which is more than required torque
required torque is like 110
>>> which is more than required torque
Yes but the tire won't fall off
I only know one group of ppl who use a torque specs
with the factory tire iron
my dad follows them right beside his bible🤣
i cranked em tight with factory tire iron… all my body weight… could i have have fked up??
i had to put all new all lugs in the pouring rain on the side of the highway and i wanna know if i made a mistake or if it was just something
It's life I have had the same thing happen
loose nuts is really the only thing that could cause this cascade failure right?? all lugs wiggling loose??
from a logical standpoint!!
i could see 1 as a mishap
just 1 loose wouldnt cause all the rest to become loose, thats the wuestion im asking..
It is what it is sometimes
i make enemies at my job, i wanna know if you think this is more human error or an act getting back at me
You can over torque that stuff
Best to follow the recommendations and not use too much force, or you can damage the materials
