Yes… certainly not the behavior I would expect and I am disappointed in his behavior but hope he and the Red Sox use this as an opportunity to better educate themselves and others regarding empathy and inclusivity… we are all human and make horrible mistakes….cant be taken back but can learn from it and move forward.
Sport players are there for their skills. They don’t go through educate training or are they vetted on morals or class. It’s always a gamble for a team. It’s hard. Most don’t know how to handle things. It can hurt a team with a wild fan base but it happens for sure. It’s good to see true colors. They won’t change who they are. Just have to be in rough waters being bagged.
