My response to them: Thank you for your response. You are right that those are public rooms, but people don’t join Antiland to be visible to the public. Most people who are aware of this are pretty appalled by it, and worried that this will give more easy access to lurkers. The core idea of anonymity goes away with this. I have checked other chat apps, [app names], and few others, and none show their chat rooms (public or otherwise) without a login. I’m messaging you on behalf of many others, who would be interested in knowing what’s your next steps? Could you please share your development team’s plans on this topic when ready? In the meantime, will there be a notification when people are using public rooms that this is visible openly throughout internet? Your current privacy policy might need some addressing too as well.
