In New Testament, Jesus has prayed numerous times to the Father.

That's the relationship between them

Yes, he prays to his God, not to himself.

Jesus is god as well

No, Jesus is God's son. God doesn't have a God whom he worships and obeys.

Yes Christ prayed to God. No where it is written Christ prayed to Himself.

Okay, so they aren't just three different forms of God

They are.

God is triune

Aka Trinity

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Jesus' God is the Father, and the Father is not a trinity.

1 Cor 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
