Yea, in Appalachia, the region Iâm from, Pentecostals are notorious for taking a verse from the Old Testament too literally and will use live venomous snakes for services. They believe that if youâre bit, then God made them do it because youâre sinful, and youâre not allowed to seek medical treatment for the bite.
