Sadly. There are still older Protestant churches, like the Lutherans, who hold to their Catholic roots and are very similar. But overall, the movements that appeared in America have become progressively unhinged

I mean sure. But ultimately heresy grows in such fertile soil when they reject tradition and the historicity of the church. The evangelical movement is a particularly damaging force within Christendom. But yes, we can pray that God will show them the way and fill their hearts with the thirst for connection with the original churches
