And the kids putting a wedge between you because you don't think you can do anything now that you have this kid and you can't be these certain ways because you don't want to be in a certain way in front of the kid or you don't have the time or the energy

my mother in law and my own mother help with the kid a lot. we usually have at least 2 days a week with just me and him and we still do nothing.

Why don't you get a piece of paper each write down what you want from each person and then hand it to each other what you're expecting from your partner

And what you're looking for in your partner and then work on that

Like what are you expecting from me like what do you wanting me like write the questions down they answer them hand them back to you and you keep it anonymous neither one has to know nothing and then you just work on that and cross them off and see if it can get better

i do so much for him. i even quit my job to be a SAHM for him because he said childcare is more expensive than just me staying home. ive given up my individuality for him and our child. i just dont know what more to do.

Well maybe the changes are stressing him out because it's making him work harder

Maybe I'll just want it ready financially or mentally for a kid and all that brought with it

im beginning to feel that maybe i should cut my losses and just co parent as youve said. it seems we arent getting anywhere.

he has a good paying job, he works the same hours as he did when i was working.

You need someone that's into you and that's into the kid also you don't need someone that's just into you they've got to be 5050 you can't be into the wife more than the kid or the kid into the wife can't do that doesn't work that way you have to have your love for the wife and love for the kid

Maybe it will shake him out of his ways

People start to take you for granted after they got you

Yeah if you stay with somebody and you feel like you're growing more apart like branches on a tree and not growing straight up and you're branching out then you don't know each other is anymore maybe you don't have the same passion for each other

What brought you together is not there anymore and that was the foundation of what you liked about that person but that person is not that person that you started dating and that brought you together

And maybe what you married and the person that you married is probably not there and it's changed into something different and the things that made you want to marry that person or aren't there or they could be there but they're lost and they need to respark

Even friends complimented each other so why would it be hard for a partner

he didnt gain any financial stress with me quitting, it actually took the stress away from him. im not an expensive woman, i dont demand money or anything from him after quitting. so its all a bit confusing. i think we might need to take a break for awhile and see if maybe thatll show if we grew apart or we really do love and need eachother
